How does it work?
The CIM-BBS Gateway Programme runs over two years and is open to Brunel students on BSc Hons Business & Management (Marketing) and BSc Hons Business & Management (Marketing) with Placement Year.
Working towards the CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing involves doing MG2048 Marketing Communications which is core at Level 2 and choosing MG3037 Internet Marketing as an option at Level 3. Both modules have a top up of CIM content delivered through CIM supported workshops and are CIM assessed.
The CIM Integrated Communication and CIM Digital Marketing workshops take place at Brunel in January of each academic year and are run by Jon and Caroline Twomey of the CIM accredited Student Support Group. The two-day intensive workshops are run in small classes of up to 25 students covering a specially devised CIM syllabus including interactive online sessions in an IT lab, online exercises and group presentations.
The assessments for CIM Integrated Communication and CIM Digital Marketing are both coursework and are submitted to CIM for marking in April of each academic year.
