Spinal Cord Injury Measure for Intermittent Catheter Users: Quality of Life Evaluation

We are a group of researchers from Brunel University.

The SMILE study is developing a measure of quality of life for people with neurological damage to their spinal cord who use intermittent catheters.

Your opinions and feelings are vitally important to our study

In the first part of this study we talked to people with spinal cord injury and neurological damage to their spinal cord to find out about their experiences of using intermittent self-catheterisation. This helped us to draw up a list of questions about intermittent self-catheter use. It is vitally important to our study that we check how well these questions work with a range of people so we would like to ask you to complete a questionnaire.

The questionnaire may take about 15 minutes to complete and we will donate £1 to Spinal Injuries Scotland or Spinal Injuries Association for every questionnaire submitted.

Would you like to take part in this study?
If so, please read the further information page and complete our questionnaire.
