Subhash Pokhrel has a PhD in health economics (summa cum laude) from Heidelberg University, Germany and an MSc in health economics (distinction) from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. He has more than ten years experience in public health and health economics research. He worked for Tribhuvan University (Nepal) and Heidelberg University (Germany) before moving to Brunel University in August 2005. His research interests/experience include:- Economics of public health; child health and wellbeing; household decision making on health care; economic evaluation, cost analysis and outcome measurement. Subhash is also associated with the delivery of Graduate School’s Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) programme. He coordinates the Health Economics teaching block and supervises doctoral students.
