Postgraduate Courses

The School teaches postgraduate taught courses in five major subject areas: Advanced Manufacturing & Enterprise Engineering, Brunel Design, Civil Engineering, Electronic & Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

Foundation course within the School

The Building Services Foundation Course is specifically designed for those people whose qualifications fall short of the entry requirements for the MSc courses in Building Services Engineering, Building Services Engineering Management, Building Services Engineering with Sustainable Energy and Sustainable Energy - Technologies and Management.

Foundation course external to the School at Brunel

The Intensive International Pre-Masters Course is a full-time 14-week course for international students who have marginally fallen below the postgraduate direct entry level and would like to progress onto a Master's degree course in the School of Engineering and Design. It combines academic study, intensive English Language preparation, study skills and an orientation programme.

Fees for taught Masters programmes

Scholarships - There are 20 half tuition fee scholarships available for international students applying for 1-year Masters programmes.  For information on scholarships for specific courses, please view the individual course pages.
