The Centre for Youth Sport and Athlete Welfare at Brunel University, together with the Institute for Youth Sport at Loughborough University, invite you to a one-day conference on ‘Researching Youth Sport: Supporting Youth Ability and Talent’ on Wednesday 16th September at Brunel University, Uxbridge. The conference will examine support systems for young people at all levels of ability and performance, focussing on three key dimensions: sport science, ability and talent development, and welfare issues. It will bring together a wide range of researchers, academics and sport professionals to share their knowledge and experiences. Collaborators this year include BASES’ Paediatric Exercise Science special interest group and the NSPCC/Sport England Child Protection in Sport Unit.
