Department of Economics and Finance

e have an international reputation for innovative research and for high-quality undergraduate and graduate teaching alike.

We have a distinctive focus on integrating Economics and Finance. This is reflected in our six undergraduate degree programmes, our taught postgraduate courses, which include four MSc programmes, an MRes course and New Route PhD programs. We also offer a PhD by research.

We are a vibrant and enthusiastic Department with 29 academic members of staff. Our research is focussed in four research centres. We have a proven record of recent and forthcoming publications, a successful PhD programme and thriving seminar series for external and internal speakers.
