Welcome to Examinations 2013

 

 The Main Examination period will be 29 April 2013 to 17 May 2013

The Examinations Policy and May 2013 Timetable are now available
 To access, you should: 
Login with username and password;
Click the "Students" link, enter your student number, press "Enter"
and then click "View Timetable"

 Don’t forget there's a new Examinations Policy!

It means:

  • “Late is Late” 
    -  you will not be permitted to sit an examination if you arrive after the published start time;
    -  always arrive 20 minutes before the examination start time
  • No early departures from the examination venue
  • All personal devices must be put in a clear container or bag under your desk

And, as always, do remember to:

  • Bring your student id card to each examination
  • Arrive on time - 09:10 for 09:30 start and 13:40 for a 14:00 start
  • Bin all revision notes on arrival and ensure all mobile devices are stowed away from your desk

Key Notes

  • If you need any adjustments because of a disability or dyslexia and do not already have a support profile, please make an appointment to see an Advisor in the Disability and Dyslexia Service (DDS) before 22 March 2013.
    Ring 01895 265213 or come to DDS Reception in Room 315, Bannerman Centre to make an appointment.
    After this date we cannot guarantee that adjustments can be made.
  • If you are stressed about examinations, use the Counselling Service:
    Ring 01895 265070 between 09:30-16:00 weekdays for an appointment;
    Drop in at Counselling 13:45 weekdays - no appointment necessary, but first come, first seen;
    Counselling is located opposite the Medical Centre,
    and drop ins are available throughout both term and vacation time except when the University is closed (Christmas and Easter vacation time).
  • Mitigating Circumstances:
    If you feel that your examination performance may be or has been impaired due to illness, injury or situation, please contact your School who will be able to advise you and, where appropriate, direct you to documentation to submit mitigating circumstances.  Such circumstances usually need to be reported to schools before, during or within 7 days of an examination.

Candidate Lists

  • Seat numbers will be published outside the venue for each examination
  • Students with additional requirements will be contacted directly by their school regarding examination arrangements, including venues.
