Media skills training course for researchers

We wish to invite second year and final year PhD researchers, research staff and researchers to participate in a research programme run by the Human Centred Design Institute (HCDI) at Brunel University London. The study provides the opportunity to take part in a one-day media skills training course at the Brunel campus from early October 2017 to December 2017. The course aims to help develop research dissemination skills and the purpose of the research is to investigate whether such training can be augmented by the use of automated detection of emotion and non-verbal behaviour. Participants will be rewarded by receiving £5/hour for their participation. Participation in this research is voluntary and you may withdraw at any time.

In order to take part you must be:

  •   A second year or final year PhD researcher, research staff or research fellow.

If you are interested in participating please contact Monica Pereira at monica.pereira@brunel.ac.uk for times when the course is scheduled. This study has been approved by the University Research Ethics Committee.

This project will stay open looking for applicants until December 2017.
