Understanding physical activity for young children

Physical activity is essential for every child to achieve a healthy growth and development. This project is aiming to interview parents to understand motivations and barriers that their children might have regarding practicing outdoor physical activity. Such knowledge could help children to practice more physical activity, which in turn could lead to a healthier lifestyle.

In order to take part you must:

  • Be a parent to a young child

The interviews can be face to face on campus or via a phone call, the interviews will take approximately 20 minutes. This study has been approved by the University Research Ethics Committee.
