Michael Craxton is a member of Hillingdon Borough Council and was Mayor of Hillingdon from May 1995 until May 1996. He has represented the Borough on a number of local and regional bodies, including the London Arts Board, the London Ecology Committee and the Hillingdon Arts Association. Michael Craxton has been an enthusiastic supporter of Brunel University in general, and its Arts Centre in particular, over a number of years.
