A Transcript of Studies is an official record of a student's academic achievement whilst studying at University. It includes a breakdown of all modules taken and results attained.
For undergraduates who enrolled on a full programme of study in September 2012 onwards, a Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) is available instead of a transcript upon completion of 3 or more years of study.
Progression transcripts are available in eVision and can also be obtained from the department that you studied with (please click here to find your department and their contact details).
If you enrolled prior to October 1998, please be aware that an award transcript is unlikely to be available regardless of the School or College that you studied with.
HEAR or Award Transcript of Study can be obtained as follows:
For Undergraduate students enrolled since October 2009
and Postgraduate students enrolled since October 2013
If you have not already done so, then please sign up for our VerifyAward service where electronic copied of your degree certificate and HEAR or Transcript of Study are stored securely online, available for you to view free of charge whenever you need them. This service provides a 24/7 automated service for online award verifications for students to allow employers, recruitment agencies, educational institutions and other third parties to verify that you hold an authentic degree from Brunel University London.
A PDF document can be printed from VerifyAward; however, we would encourage third parties to verify this online.
A hardcopy printed printed by the University can be provided. The current cost for a printed HEAR or Transcript of Studies is £60. Click here to request a printed copy. We would normally aim to provide the printed transcript within 20 working days.
For Undergraduate students enrolled before October 2009
and Postgraduate students enrolled before October 2013
Transcript requests for the following departments Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, Geography and Metallurgy will need to be looked into by the Awards Team. Please click here to contact us.
For both Undergraduates and Postgraduates, replacement award transcripts can be obtained from the awards team. The current cost of a printed replacement transcript copy is £60.
