Research Overview
David has particular research interests in visual communication, visual design, strategic language use and globalisation. His current research includes uses of sound for specific communicative purposes, uses of language in social media and public relations and the linking of visual design to market criteria particularly in the field of visual journalism and web design, and the techniques of localisation in language for transnational magazines.Teaching Activity
