After practising as a lawyer in my native France for two years, I decided to change career path and was looking for a strong journalism course.

Brunel’s MA International Journalism was definitely a good choice. All the teachers and lecturers here are extremely competent but they are also always available to help, encourage and advise you.

At Brunel you learn multi-platform journalism (video, audio, print and online). With the media industry changing fast, the International Journalism course has provided me with strategies to cope with its ever-altering requirements.

But more than technical and practical skills, this course has also given me the opportunity to meet and network with high profile journalists such as Jon Williams (BBC), Jon Leyne (BBC) and Sarah Whitehead (Sky News). Thanks to a contact I made through the course I was lucky enough to be invited to spend a few hours visiting BBC News at Broadcasting House which was hugely beneficial and enjoyable.
