Theatre
Here you will find links and information about our forthcoming events and our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, BA Theatre and MA Contemporary Performance Making. Brunel University’s BA Theatre is a brand new honours degree which was launched in 2011 that is specially designed for those students who aspire to work in today’s vibrant and diverse theatre industry. The programme includes a work placement in the final year; this builds on the range of professional development activities that are a feature of this programme. Our students are taught in the purpose built, Antonin Artaud Centre which houses a fully equipped main theatre and studio theatre as well as a suite of rehearsal and recording studios.
The MA in Contemporary Performance Making has a strong practical component and is aimed at practising artists and students who wish to engage creatively with live art, digital art, new writing and directing for performance. This well established programme draws on the excellent resources in the School of Arts and our close proximity to the diverse range of international performance available in London. Our students undertake a work placement as part of their MA studies.
