Links to Industry

The Brunel MBA is very much a practical qualification aimed at meeting the needs of aspiring middle level or senior managers so it is highly appropriate that it is underpinned by Brunel’s close links to business. Below are details of just a few recent School initiatives under the umbrella of Business Life employability programme that demonstrate this:

Industry Initiatives

  • MBA  students undertake regular visits to companies in the UK
  • The Industry Advisory Board for the MBA Programme includes some of the biggest corporations in UK
  • The School hosted a discussion forum for aviation sector managers and an annual conference for occupational health professionals

International Business Tour

MBA students have the opportunity to embark annually on a Business Tour to one of the main economic hubs in the world, where they learn about operations of multinational corporations. A recent visit included a weeklong trip to one of the leading BRIC economies: India. Students had a unique opportunity to meet with senior directors of companies such as Cadburys, McDonalds and Merrill Lynch – as well as a number of local social enterprises and SMEs.
