Boot Camp for Applicants Amazing, Say Participants

University applicants got a crash course in success during the Brunel Business Boot Camp, which took place from 20 – 22 February 2013. A second Boot Camp will be organised by Brunel Business School at the beginning of April 2013.

Postgraduate Scholarships Available Now

Brunel University announced that it will offer Academic Excellence Scholarships to postgraduate students. The scholarships are more generous than ever before and make studying for a Business and Management degree more accessible for high quality applicants. These scholarships are offered to UK/EU and International students who have a first class degree from a UK university (studied in the UK or abroad).

More Brunel MBA international graduates able to work in UK this year

The UKBA have announced an extension to the Graduate Entrepreneur scheme for 2013, which will allow each Higher Education Institution to endorse up to 10 places on the scheme for MBA graduates, in addition to the 10 places for graduates of any subject. In general, the UKBA expanded the scheme from April 2013 to include an additional 1000 places for talented international MBA graduates

Softcat and BBS join forces to improve students’ career prospects

The Brunel Business School Business Life programme is developing an exciting opportunity for our current students in collaboration with the HR department of Softcat, a leading IT reseller in UK. Softcat won a host of awards, including their most recent ‘Business of the Year 2012’ award, and the Business School is proud to enjoy a close working relationships with the company which in turn directly benefits our students.

British Library visits BBS to encourage better use of resources

Brunel Business School had a visit from the British Library last Thursday. Around 40 BBS staff and PhD students attended the talk, which focused on the business resources held at the British Library.
