FT ranks Brunel Business School amongst top 75 in Europe
Brunel Business School is ranked amongst the 75 best Business Schools across Europe, according to the latest Financial Times ranking. The ranking sees Brunel Business School ranked 21st in the UK, one of the highest new first time entries.

Rolls Royce Masterclass
Arnd Kaiser of Rolls Royce UK provided MSc Global Supply Chain Management students with a Masterclass in Lean Production techniques. The presentation dealt with the human resource dimensions associated with the introduction of lean tools and techniques and provided students with insights into the challenges often faced by managers when embarking upon change programmes.

Brunel Business School learnt recently that its MSc Global Supply Chain Management had been fully accredited by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS).

The Financial Times 2010 Masters in Management Report, out today, sees Brunel Business School's MSc Management ranked 10th in the UK and 59th in the world.
CIMA recognition for Accounting pathway graduates
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) confirmed recently that graduates of Brunel Business School’s Business and Management (Accounting) degree programme would henceforth be exempt not only from the five modules that make up CIMA’s entry level qualification, the Certificate in Business Accounting, but also from 3 operational level modules required for the CIMA’s professional qualification – subject to certain elective modules being studied.

Award for Business School doctoral student
Business School doctoral student, Talal Al-Maghrabi, who successfully defended his PhD thesis at a viva in July, was one of three Brunel students from Saudi Arabia to be honoured recently at a special event organised by the Saudi embassy in London and the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission in the United Kingdom.
New Route to Academic Promotion for Suzan
Suzan ALQURASHI will this week become the first female student from Saudi Arabia to graduate from Brunel Business School’s New Route PhD programme.

Brunel Business School recently received the excellent news that it had been granted membership of the prestigious European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), following a peer review.
Academics secure £0.5m for Age UK research project
Sustainable social enterprise through innovative business models: An unusually large KTP proposal submitted by the principal investigator Dr Gabriella Spinelli has been awarded £540,000 to develop innovative business models that will strengthen the position of Age UK, the largest non-for-profit organisation who works to improve the life of people in later life.
