New Editor of the Journal of Business Research Visits the Marketing and Corporate Brand Research Group

Professor Naveen Donthu, the new co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Business Research, was a guest of Professor John Balmer (Director of the Marketing and Corporate Brand Research Group) on the 12th and 13th October.

As part of his visit, Professor Donthu spent an entire day with the academic marketing group and its PhD students, giving advice on getting published in the JBR as well as explaining the new editorial policies of the journal.

Professor Donthu, who is the Katherine S. Bernhardt Research Professor and department Chair in Marketing at Georgia State University, USA, shared with Professor Balmer how impressed he was by the Business School’s Marketing and Corporate Brand Research Group.

Professor John M.T. Balmer said of the visit: “It was an honour to have Professor Donthu as our guest. The academic team and PhD students greatly benefitted from discussions with Professor Donthu. I very much hope this will be the first of many visits.”
