Summary

Dr Chima Mordi is a lecturer in International HRM and Employment relations at the Brunel Business School (BBS) in the United Kingdom. He trained as a Lawyer and holds a PhD degree in human resource management from Keele University, United Kingdom. He has published widely in international refereed journals including the International Journal of Human Resource Management; Thunderbird International Business Review; Gender in management: An International journal etc. He is a member of the Work and Organisation Research Centre (WORC) at BBS. Dr Mordi’s article written with other members of the research group entitled “Motivation to Become an Entrepreneur: A Study of Nigerian Women’s Decisions” published in African Journal of Economic and Management Studies has been conferred as an Outstanding Paper Award Winner at the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2012. His research focuses on the state of employee relations and trade unionism in sub-Saharan Africa, new forms of work organisation, flexibility and Work life balance, discrimination and equal opportunities at work and international business in emerging markets.
