Summary

Dr Stoian obtained her PhD at the Business Economics Department of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, in 2010. She has been a visiting researcher at Växjö/Linnaeus University, Sweden (2005) and Montpellier Business School, France (2009). In collaboration with the Autonomous University of Barcelona she lectured graduate and undergraduate multi-cultural students in both English and Spanish as well as to proposed and conducted innovative courses such as “Doing Business in Emerging Markets”. Her background is strongly embedded in the areas of International Business and International Marketing with special focus on European and Emerging Markets. Furthermore, her main research interests include: strategies and practices of international/entrepreneurial new ventures and multinational corporations; organisational and institutional determinants of international strategy; business incubators; branding and consumer purchasing behaviour in the global market. She is the author(co-author) of several articles published in international journals at 3* level.
