Summary

Dr Sarmad Alshawi is a senior lecturer in Procurement & Logistics Management with more than 20 years of academic experience. He currently teaches Airport Management and Procurement Fundamentals on the MBA and MSc programmes at Brunel Business School. Dr Alshawi is an active member of the OASIS and ISEing research groups at Brunel with multi-discipline research in the areas of Logistics Management, Air Transport Management, Transformation Government, and Knowledge Management. Dr Alshawi has written in internationally refereed journals, organized conferences world-wide and has accumulated more than 90 publications. Dr Alshawi has participated in several research projects, with the latest being the EPSRC funded MATCH healthcare project
