PhD Opportunities
Brunel Business School (BBS) offers an exciting, productive and supportive environment for your postgraduate studies. You will experience a thorough exposure to research guidance, including techniques, approaches and methods. The central aim is to enable you to undertake valid, justifiable and independent high level research which is rigorous and original. Through your progress towards a PhD you will be mentored by a first Supervisor who will lead your expert supervisory team.
BBS consider PhD students as junior members of staff and you will be regarded accordingly with invitations and opportunities to our seminar series, technical courses and conference attendance (subject to criteria) support. We also apply a formal annual monitoring process for PhD candidates to ensure academic progression and development. You will benefit from an international community of research scholars from many countries and access to sophisticated physical and electronic library resources.
You will be made extremely welcome within BBS where you will join a stimulating, rewarding and vibrant research culture. You will contribute and participate in the annual PhD Symposium and engage fully with your designated Research Group. BBS offers more than just professional research training through enjoyable social engagement within a collegiate and collaborative intellectual university setting.
Please note that the PhD programme at the Business School is recognised through its on-going membership with EDAMBA since Sep 2008. More information can be found through on the following news story:
