Light Metals Technology (LMT) is a biennial conference that focuses on recent advances in the science and technologies associated with aluminium, magnesium and titanium alloys. It presents an opportunity for academic researchers and industry to discuss cutting edge developments and to facilitate new collaborations. Topics will include:

The LMT series is organised, in rotation, by the members of the global light metals alliance of top light metal research centres. LMT2013 will be hosted by BCAST, a Specialist Research Institute of Brunel University, UK. BCAST is the lead partner of the EPSRC Centre - LiME, a national centre of excellence in liquid metal engineering.

The conference will attract representatives of light metal producers, end-users from a broad range of engineering sectors, and research institutions and universities. We expect approximately 250 delegates from countries around the globe.
