About Emeritus

First Qualification in Physiology and Physics. Invented term 'Bioengineering' and has worked in design of technology based systems and devices for 50 years. Work has ranged from instruments used for biological research in the weightless environment of orbiting space craft, to Tools for Living, i.e. the use of technology of all kinds to improve the quality of life of elderly people. Also does product launches, keynote lectures and after dinner speeches on appropriate occasions if the fee is right! Owns and manages two small companies integrated into the work of the Institute.
