Intellectual Property, Internet and Media Research Centre
The Intellectual Property, Internet and Media Research Centre (IPIMRC) was established in 2006 to assist and promote study and research in all areas of intellectual property and information law, with particular emphasis on new communication technologies. Members of IPIMRC undertake both theoretical and empirical research on the complex intersection of law and technology and are active in a range of areas currently including international and European intellectual property, practice and management of intellectual property, digital copyright, internet privacy and data protection, e-commerce regulation and cyber consumerism.
The IPIMRC encourages the publication of academically excellent research that is conducted in the context of Brunel Law School postgraduate programmes and research degrees. This process includes presentation of the work made in internal seminars and review by members of the Centre.
