BBS considers PhD students as junior members of staff so you'll be given the same opportunities to attend seminars, technical courses and conferences. You'll be mentored by a First Supervisor who will lead your expert supervisory team and help you progress. We also apply a formal annual monitoring process for PhD candidates to ensure that you're progressing academically and that you're pleased with how your research is developing.
