Paediatric Emergency First Aid

Who is it for? 

This course provides a basic understanding of the practical application of first aid for infants and children. It is an ideal course for new parents as well as those who work with children.

What will you learn? 

The course will give you the knowledge and confidence to deal with a first aid emergency involving infants or children.

 Syllabus

Paediatric Emergency First Aid covers the following topics
 Accidents and Illness   Infant Basic Life Support                                           
 Using the First Aid Kit  Child Basic Life Support
 Simple Record Keeping  Dealing with epilepsy in children
 Causes and Treatment of the unconscious casualty  

 

How is it delivered?

Delivered in a classroom setting over 1 day by a professional and approved First Aid trainer.

Assessment Process

Upon successful completion of the course candidates will be rewarded with a First Aid Awards (FAA) approved "Paediatric Emergency First Aid" certificate and a wallet card, both valid for three years.

Costs

£99 per person (VAT not applicable), lunch is included each day (please provide information on dietary requirements when booking). We offer a 10% reduction on bookings of six or more, for more details please contact us.
