Presentation of the Bloomberg data system and the Bloomberg Aptitude Test (BAT)

The Bloomberg data system is the most popular source of economic and financial data in the market and is widely used for research and teaching as well. The presentation will cover the following topics:

- Getting started with Bloomberg;
- How to use Bloomberg accounting data for company analysis;
- Macroeconomic data and country statistics on Bloomberg (GDP, interest rates, unemployment rates, exchange rates, production statistics, prices and price indices, economic surveys, etc.);
- Financial data on Bloomberg (stock, commodity, bond and derivative prices, trading volumes and volatilities, high frequency data, etc.);
