At this event, the Campaign for Social Science will discuss its work advocating on behalf of the social sciences in the lead-up to General Election 2015, and what the new government means for the future of UK social sciences.

The Business of People was the Campaign’s pre-election report which made a case to policy-makers for the value of social science to the UK’s society and economy. The report has stimulated a wide-ranging debate among social scientists. Positive reactions to the events so far:
