Application
Eligible applicants submitting their UCAS application prior to 15 January deadline, and who are made an offer to study at Brunel, will be given access to an online scholarship application form which must be completed and submitted by 10 March. Successful applicants will be informed of their conditional scholarship offer by the end of March. Conditional scholarships will be confirmed in early September. Any scholarships remaining unallocated may be awarded in early September.

Eligibility (Eligibility criteria are reviewed annually)

To be eligible for consideration of an Academic Excellence Scholarship, a student must:

  • meet the entry criteria for their programme of study and achieve one of the following qualifications and grades*;
    • 3 A-levels with grades AAA or above
    • International Baccalaureate Diploma with 35 points or above
    • 3 Scottish Advanced Highers with grades AAA
    • Higher Irish Leaving Certificate from 4 subjects with grades A1, A1, A1, A1
    • BTEC Extended Diploma with grades D*D*D*;
  • make Brunel University their firm choice through UCAS;
  • have submitted a completed scholarship application by 10 March.

Where insufficient applicants meet the criteria to enable all the scholarship money to be allocated by September, consideration will be given to students who achieve AAB or equivalent**.

 

*Qualifying grades must be in the subjects expressed in the offer of admission.
