International Academic Excellence Scholarships

Value: £3,000 pa taken either as:

  1. A reduction in tuition fees of £3,000
  2. A reduction in tuition fees of £2,000 and an additional sum of £1,000 in cash, paid in three instalments

For how many years: 3 years, subject to meeting progression criteria

Eligibility (Eligibility criteria are reviewed annually)

To be eligible for consideration of an International Academic Excellence scholarship, a student must

  • have submitted an application via UCAS by 20th February for a course in one of the following subject areas:
    • Electronic and Computing Engineering
    • Computer Science
    • Law
  • be overseas, for fee purposes
  • meet the entry criteria for their programme of study and achieve one of the following qualifications and grades*:
    • 3 A levels with grades AAA or above
    • International Baccalaureate Diploma with 35 points or above
    • make Brunel University their firm choice through UCAS

Where insufficient applicants meet the criteria to enable all the scholarship money to be allocated by September, consideration will be given to students who achieve AAB or equivalent**.

*Qualifying grades must be in the subjects expressed in the offer of admission
