You will be sent your offer letter by email. It is important that you read this email carefully. For your offer to become unconditional you must complete the following conditions:
We require these documents to be able to issue you a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies – CAS number. You will need this to apply for your Tier 4 (General) student visa. You can find more information about applying for your visa under the immigration tab.
You will also need to have an unconditional offer to secure your accommodation on campus.
Will I receive any pre-arrival information?
With your offer letter you will also be sent a ‘Pre-arrival Information’ document. This will be sent by email and it is important that you read this document carefully. We have included further details on all the areas covered in this section, as well as how to complete the first stage of your on-line enrolment and some top tips of what to bring with you to the UK (you don’t want to bring too much luggage with you)!
If you still require more information please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I need a Visa?
If you are an international student and have applied to study at IPLC, in most cases, you will need to apply for a visa. If you are not sure if you need a visa, you can check on the UKBA website for more information.
Please note that if you are thinking of bringing any family members with while you study at Brunel, they may also need a visa or need to be included on your visa. You will need to have the funds available to support both yourself and your family while you study at Brunel.
What type of visa do I need?
In most cases, for the English and Foundation courses offered by IPLC, you will need to apply for a Tier 4 (General) Visa. You will also need a Tier 4 visa for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Brunel or LIBT.
You should make sure that your visa covers the full length of your course and has Brunel's sponsor licence number. Once you have completed your IPLC course, you will need to apply for another visa for your academic programme. At IPLC, we offer students full support in applying for their new visa.
Please note that changes are sometimes made to the Tier 4 visa and we would recommend that you check the UKBA website.

Book your free airport pickup
Airport Pickup Service
We hope you have an enjoyable journey to the UK. To help your journey go as smoothly as possible, IPLC offer a FREE airport pick-up taxi service for new students arriving at Heathrow Airport.
Please do not use the online form to book your airport pickup more than once: If you need to change any of the details, or you have made any mistakes, please just reply to your confirmation email with the corrections. Do NOT re-apply online.
Please try and wait to make your airport pickup booking until you have details of where you will be staying in Accommodation. If this is not possible, just make the online application and then reply to the confirmation email stating which halls you will be staying in once you have the details.
What do I do when I arrive at the airport?
Firstly, find baggage collection. Once you have collected your luggage and been through Immigration control, walk into the Arrivals hall and find a phone box. These are public phones and should be easy to find as you walk into Arrivals. If you can’t find one, ask a member of staff or go to the Information Desk.
Call LONDON HEATHROW CARS, by dialing UK free phone number 0800 505 3231 (or if you call from your mobile, dial 0208 814 2727)and mention your name. Around 10 minutes later your driver will meet you inside the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name.
How do I find my driver?
Once you have called, make your way to meet your driver at the meeting point in Arrivals. The driver will meet you here and will be holding a sign with your name on.
Meeting point for each terminal:
Terminal 1: Costa Coffee
Terminal 3: Tourist services desk
Terminal 4: Costa Coffee
Terminal 5: Costa Coffee
What if my flight is delayed?
Your driver will know about any flight delays. Just make sure you call your driver when you come out of arrivals, and a car will be with you in around 10 minutes.
Where will I be dropped off at Brunel?
If you are arriving at campus between 9am - 4.55pm, you will be dropped straight to your halls accommodation. This is where you will need to get your keys from (at the halls reception). On the form you told us you are staying in Isambard Complex (North, Meadow, Michael Bevis, Concourse, Stephen Bragg, West, Maurice Kogan, David Neave, Central, East, Runnymede, George Shipp, Trevor Slater, Shoreditch, Syd Urry, South, Brian Winstanley) please reply to this email if this is incorrect.
If you are arriving at campus between 5pm and 9am, you should remind your driver to drop you at the Security Office. Your driver should then wait for you to get their keys, and take you to your halls accommodation with your luggage.
Make sure you talk to Accommodation Office before you depart, so they know where you will be collecting your keys and they will give you instructions on this email@example.comIf you would prefer to make your own way to the Brunel Campus - there are several options available:
The U3 Bus leaves from Heathrow Airport Bus Station starting from 05:10 am, and a bus leaves roughly every ten minutes, with the last service at midnight. The bus stops outside Brunel University Security Office - please ask the driver where to get off if you are not sure.
Alternatively, if you wish to travel by taxi, a Black Cab from Heathrow Airport to the University should cost around £35.00 - £40.00, however please be aware prices can vary.
We do not recommend traveling to Brunel from Heathrow by London Underground, as it may take a long time
