Do I need a Visa?
If you are an international student and have applied to study at IPLC, in most cases, you will need to apply for a visa. If you are not sure if you need a visa, you can check on the UKBA website for more information.
Please note that if you are thinking of bringing any family members with while you study at Brunel, they may also need a visa or need to be included on your visa. You will need to have the funds available to support both yourself and your family while you study at Brunel.
What type of visa do I need?
In most cases, for the English and Foundation courses offered by IPLC, you will need to apply for a Tier 4 (General) Visa. You will also need a Tier 4 visa for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Brunel or LIBT.
You should make sure that your visa covers the full length of your course and has Brunel's sponsor licence number. Once you have completed your IPLC course, you will need to apply for another visa for your academic programme. At IPLC, we offer students full support in applying for their new visa.
Please note that changes are sometimes made to the Tier 4 visa and we would recommend that you check the UKBA website.
