Logging on to u-Link

This page provides information on what details to use when logging on, and what to do if your login information is not accepted.

On this page:

Username: Student ID

You can usually find your Student ID on your Access ID Card (Student ID Card), it is the lower number, beneath your photo. If you find your Student ID from another source, please note that the slash ('/') and any characters after this are not part of your login details.

Please note that not all Access ID Cards contain a student ID. If you card only has one number, and it is not 7 digits long, it probably isn't your student number. Your school should be able to help.

In the image below, the location of your student ID is highlighted in red. Enter the number exactly as it is printed on your card.

Password: Brunel Network Password

You will receive your Brunel Network Account details once you have completed the on-line task in eVision. If you can’t get your Brunel Network Account details on-line, then please visit the Computing Support Team based in the John Crank building, Room 031. If you are a distance learning or part time student please email:
computing-support@brunel.ac.uk

Your Brunel Network Account Password is the same password you use for accessing services such as Webmail and logging on to Brunel PCs. Please note that it is not the same password as used for eVision.

You can check you are entering your Brunel Network Account password correctly by trying to log in to Webmail. If this is unsuccessful, it is most likely that you will need to get your Brunel Network Account password reset by visiting or e-mailing the Computing Support Team as explained above.

To reset your Network Password, you will need to take your Access ID Card (Student ID Card) to:
Computing Support: John Crank 031 (Ground Floor). If you are a distance learning or part time student please email: computing-support@brunel.ac.uk
