Gail Pearson

Gail Pearson is Professor of Business law at the University of Sydney. Her recent books are Pearson and Batten Understanding Australian Consumer Credit Law (2010); Pearson, Fisher, Peden and Tolhurst Commercial Law Commentary and Materials ed 3 (2010) and Pearson Financial Services Law and Compliance in Australia (2009). In addition to contemporary law, she is working on nineteenth century origins of global commercial law rules.  Among other roles, Professor Pearson is a Code Compliance Committee member of the Mutuals’ Banking Code of Practice.
