Tony Cole organised and moderated an online symposium on OGEMID, an email discussion forum for specialists in international arbitration and international investment law. The symposium addressed the ability of States to bring counterclaims against investors in international investment arbitration, using the recent decision in Roussalis v. Romania as a foundation. Participants in the symposium were Mark Bravin (Winston & Strawn), Hege Elisabeth Kjos (University of Amsterdam), Yarik Kryvoi (University of West London), Gustavo Laborde (Lévy-Kaufmann Kohler), and Ulf Linderfalk (Lund University).
