Dr Olufemi Amao is a graduate of University College Cork, Ireland (PhD, 2009); PG Cert (2009); University of Warwick, UK (LLM, 2005); University of Ibadan, Nigeria (LLM, 2003); Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria (LLB, 1997); University of Ilorin, Nigeria (BA, 1991). He was called to the Nigeria Bar in 1999. He was a Lecturer in Law at the University College Cork, Ireland. He previously worked as a barrister in Nigeria.  He is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences in his area of expertise.

Student Support

I am the Mooting Tutor for the School. The School has a vibrant student-led Law Society and my role is to work with them to ensure that mooting and debating events are as effective as possible.
