Award of certificates for professional development short courses
On December 5, 2012, BLS celebrated student participation in professional development short courses by awarding certificates to students who have actively engaged with the Pro Bono and Specialist Advocacy courses in the last academic year (2011-12), and to students who have already completed the Legal Professionals Masterclass this year (2012-13).
Brunel Law School and David Rosen, of Darlingtons sollicitors, set up Pro Bono Group
In October 2011, Brunel Law School started a Pro Bono Group. David Rosen, Partner and Head of Litigation / Dispute Resolution at Darlingtons Solicitors, and a former graduate of Brunel Law School, is co-ordinating the activities of the group, giving the students the unique opportunity to offer advice to clients.
