Law LLB students have the opportunity to take part in a placement, giving first-hand professional legal experience.
A dedicated placement tutor from the Professional Development Centre works closely with the Brunel Law School to facilitate opportunities for our students, and every placement student is also appointed an academic tutor from within the school.
On a placement, you will gain experience in dynamic and challenging legal environments, and will receive exposure to working with clients, court work, negotiations and legal drafting. Previously, our students have completed placements in governmental departments, private practices, court and prosecution services, and in-house legal service.
Placements in legal environments strengthen employability and give you the chance to try different types of law work, helping you to decide which specific area you would like to specialise in.
