Prospective international students

This special section for International students provides you with all the information you need to apply for a room on campus at Brunel.

The Accommodation Office has years of experience in helping international students find accommodation during their degrees and associated specialist courses such as the Pre-sessional Course.

The same types of accommodation are available to International and Home/EU students, and for the 2012/13 session there will be a total of 4,549 rooms on campus. There are three different kinds of room available:

  • Ensuite - students have private bath/shower room facilities
  • Standard - students share bath/shower room facilities
  • Studio Flats for co-habiting couples - students have their own kitchen and bath/shower room facilities

Further information can be found on the Halls of Residence pages.

If you have not yet been issued with a Brunel ID number, please contact Brunel International by email.

We also offer accommodation on campus during the Summer Vacation period between 1 June 2012 and 8 September 2012. The minimum stay is one week, and you can apply online. Availability of campus accommodation may vary in 2012 compared to other years due to the London Olympics. It may not be possible to accommodate the usual number of students due to Brunel's commitment to provide rooms to LOCOG for those taking part in the Olympics or providing support to LOCOG. An update will be provided at a later date on the Accommodation Office website.

If your stay falls outside the available periods you may need to consider off-campus options or a home stay - Brunel International may be able to assist you in arranging this.
