Entering your final year

Accommodation on campus is allocated in accordance with the University Accommodation Policy. The Policy gives priority to students in their first year of registration in full time study for the full session and then to final year students. It is reviewed annually for the next academic session. If you are a current student please see the Brunel Intranet for up-to-date information.
  • Priority is given to first year students
  • Once the Accommodation Office has received the anticipated intake figures for first year students in each new session, a decision can be made as to whether final year accommodation will be available. This decision should be made by December. If you are a current Brunel Student please see the final year accommodation Intranet pages for updates

The Housing Office is also available to help and assist students with local housing, and you can contact them by email.

Researchers

Accommodation for full time students is available during your 2nd or 3rd year of research. An accommodation application form will be emailed to students during December of each year. For further information please contact the Accommodation Office by email. If you are a current student please see the the accommodation for researchers Intranet pages.

Part time students cannot apply for accommodation on campus due to high demand from full-time students.

Students in continuation (part or full session) are classed as low priority due to their fee status and will also not be allocated campus accommodation.

If living on campus does not appeal to you or if your family will be joining you, then you could consider living in the local area. The University Housing Office is also available to help and assist students with local housing, and can be contacted by email.
