Isambard Complex

2008 saw the completion of a spectacular new residential complex set in landscaped grounds at the west end of the campus. This provides 1,188 en suite rooms, 40 specially adapted rooms for students with disabilities, and 112 studio flats for couples. The accommodation is divided into 17 blocks.

In your bedroom

  • Bed, 2 sheets, 1 pillow, 1 pillow case, mattress, mattress protector, duvet and duvet cover

Security

Entry is by swipe card. The residence has CCTV and there are regular security patrols at night.

Cleaning

Communal area cleaning service provided and launderettes in or near each hall.

Students will be required to bring their own crockery and cooking utensils. Residents are responsible for washing and storing all cooking utensils on a daily basis to allow cleaning to take place from 9am.

Fresh linen is provided on arrival.
