Lancaster Complex

Situated at the heart of the campus, and completed in September 2006, the Lancaster Complex consists of 518 rooms, divided into 56 flats of up to 10 residents who have shared use of a large communal kitchen/diner.

Facilities

Coin-operated launderette with eight washing machines and eight dryers.

In your bedroom

  • Bed, 2 sheets, 1 pillow, 1 pillow case, mattress, mattress protector, duvet and duvet cover 
  • Chest of drawers, wardrobe, bookshelf, desk and chair

Security

Entry is by university ID swipe cards/proximity cards. There is CCTV on each entrance and regular security patrols at night.

Cleaning

Communal areas and kitchens are cleaned every day from Monday to Friday.

Students will be required to bring their own crockery and cooking utensils. Residents are responsible for washing and storing all cooking utensils on a daily basis to allow cleaning to take place from 9am.

Fresh linen is provide on arrival.
