Guests and tickets

Owing to an increased demand for our winter ceremony, students can request up to 4 tickets but we can only guarantee 2. Availability of tickets will depend on demand and guest tickets are priced at £25 each.

All tickets must have been pre-purchased via eVision, and there will be no extra tickets available for sale on the door. As the event is being held at an external venue we are obliged to follow their established health and safety protocols as regards to maximum numbers, so we will be unable to make any exceptions.

The event will be live streamed on the day to allow those unable to attend to see it in real-time, and it will also be broadcast in another part of the venue, though as this is a space open to the general public we are unable to guarantee access.

The eVision task also provides the opportunity to request any visa letters and/or to give details of any additional requirements due to disability. Common accessibility needs are listed in the "My Graduation" task, together with a link to further details concerning the venue’s accessibility.

Important Notes

All guests will need a ticket to be admitted to a ceremony.

Children aged 6 and under cannot be admitted, with or without a ticket, and there will be no childcare facility.

Students will be seated together, so they can be guided to the stage in the correct order for their name to be called and their certificate issued. Consequently guests are seated separately but do not have allocated seats.

As noted above, given this year's demand and the venue's capacity, additional tickets will not be available on the day.

We operate a "no refund" policy, although you are able to change the number of guest tickets requested by returning to the "My Graduation" task in eVision and editing your response.

Ticket confirmation and payment

Tickets will be allocated, to those with an award and eligible to attend graduation, the day after the task completion deadline (27 November 2016). Any edits made to your graduation task will be looked every Friday prior to the ceremonies.

Ticket payment will be open until your ceremony begins on 15 December but try not to leave it to the last minute. WIFI is limited in the registration area, there will be no cash payments on the day and only limited card payments.

As noted above, please be aware that we operate a "no refund" policy once ticket payments have been made.

Paid guest tickets will not be sent out in advance. They will be available for collection when students register to attend on the day of their ceremony.
