Blood samples
You can have your blood taken at Hillingdon hospital in the Pathology department. The Haematology walk-in clinic is open from 8.30am - 4.45pm. Travel information can be found on the Hillingdon Hospital website.
Please ensure that you bring any forms which your GP has given to you specifying the test procedures required, and adhere to any special instructions your GP has mentioned (eg fasting).
How to obtain test results
We will normally provide an indication of the results from blood, urine, stool, swab or other pathology results over the telephone. We do ask that you only call between the hours of 2.00pm – 4.00pm, so that you do not tie up the lines when other patients are typically phoning to make appointments.
If the result of the test warrants further discussion or is complex, you may be asked to make an appointment to get a fuller explanation.
Chlamydia
Free chlamydia screening at the Medical Centre. You can come at any time of the day between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:30 am to 1:30 pm on Friday.
