Registration

Registration is the process of formally becoming a Brunel student, and it takes place in two parts.

Part one (all students)

The first part involves completing an online Registration task. You should do this at home through eVision, Brunel’s online student portal.

You will have received an email explaining how to complete the online task and you should log in using your My Applications username and password. You will need to:

  • check that the personal details we already hold about you are correct;
  • provide information about how you intend to pay your fees;
  • upload or post a passport-sized photograph of yourself for your student ID card. (All photos must be received at the University at least one week prior to your start date. You will then be able to collect your card when you arrive to complete Registration. If you miss this deadline, your photo will be taken during the Registration process and your ID card created when you arrive.)

Once you have completed the Registration task, you will be asked to print a Provisional Registration Document. You should bring this to the second part of Registration, which takes place on campus when you arrive at Brunel.

Don’t panic if you don’t have Internet access at home – there will be provision to complete the task when you arrive, but it will make part two of Registration much quicker if you can complete it before arriving at Brunel.

Part two (all students except Distance Learners)

You will complete the second stage of Registration in person during your first week on campus. This will take place in the campus Sports Centre (see How to find Brunel for a map), from Sunday 18 September to Wednesday 21 September.

You can register at any time during this period, but you must also ensure that you attend all induction related events for your course - download your Induction Timetable to find out when these will be.

You will need to bring your passport and any other relevant Registration documentation - see What to bring with you for more details. At this point we will complete all the required checks and issue you with your student ID card. There will also be a further opportunity to arrange payment of your tuition fees.

Distance Learning students

If your highest qualification has been verified by the Admissions Office, then your Registration will be complete at the end of Part One of Registration. You can check your enrolment status via eVision.
