International Labour Organisation
When the ILO closed its London office and library in 2005, Brunel University Library inherited its collection. We are the only institution in the UK to house such material. This is a collection of international materials, including books, journals and treaties relating to employment and labour law.
The collection may be found via the library catalogue.
Access to collection
The collection is housed in the Research Commons, on floor 3 of the library, accessed via the green staircase.
All Brunel postgraduates and academic staff have access to the Research Commons 24 hours a day.
Brunel undergraduates can arrange temporary access to the Research Commons by contacting their Subject Liaison Librarian.
External visitors may visit the Research Commons by appointment between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. To request an appointment please e-mail Special.Collections@brunel.ac.uk at least 2 working days ahead of your visit.
You can check when we are open on the Using our collections page.
