Poetry of the Now
Poetry of the Now is a print collection of contemporary poetry and text based work. It was originally founded at Brunel University’s Centre for Contemporary Writing. It includes small press publications, chapbooks, little magazines, manuscripts and correspondence. The collection features the work of poets such as John James, Adrian Clarke and David Jaffin.

Acces is by appointment only. To request an appointment please e-mail Special.Collections@brunel.ac.uk giving at least 2 working days notice. Appointments are subject to staff availability and only available between 9.30am and 5pm Monday – Friday in Brunel University term-time (Monday – Wednesday during university holidays). In addition to the print collection, there is an online resource of poetry and text based work hosted at Queen Mary, University of London. The Archive of the Now contains audio performances by poets. It supports non-mainstream poetry and offers a diverse and eclectic collection of works. The Archive provides downloadable MP3 files of public recordings and commissioned performances.
