Car Parking On Campus

Permits are required to park on campus as parking is limited. Students living within two miles of the campus (including those in halls) are not eligible to obtain a permit. A small number of pay and display bays are also available for all on a first come first served basis; charged at 50p per hour. Students with a blue badge are entitled to a parking permit and the two mile restriction does not apply.

During the first week of term the parking restrictions are lifted so that students arriving to take up accommodation on campus can come by car and those living further away have time to obtain their parking permit.

Annual parking permits can only be applied for after you are fully enrolled. The cost of a parking permit is £93 for the year. Be aware that a permit does not guarantee a space on campus.

Parking permits are not required outside of core hours (8am to 4.30pm) however you will need to register your vehicle so that access can be added to your ID card for the barriers. Register for Out of Hours or Motorcycle access via eVision (My University section).

Permits can be obtained via eVision (My University section) once you are fully enrolled.
