Post Induction Checklist

If you are an undergraduate or postgraduate taught student and you were not able to complete the Induction process during Freshers' week, you must register by Friday 12 October to study at Brunel this academic year (2012-13).

Complete the Following Checklist

1. Complete part one of the registration process online

Please note undergraduate and postgraduate taught students must register by Friday 12 October to enrol this academic year.
International students must ensure that at least 60% of their fees have been received by the University by this date.

2. Visit the Student Centre (in the Bannerman Centre, see the campus map) to complete part two of the registration process

3. Visit your School Administration Office

Download a map of campus
Collect your Welcome Pack
Meet your School Administrators
Find out who your Personal Tutor is

4. Download your academic timetable and reading lists via Blackboard, Brunel’s Virtual Learning Environment

You will receive your log in and ID once you have registered.

5. Connect your personal devices to the internet

6. Register with the Medical Centre

7. Visit the Library

Meet your School Subject Librarian
Book a library tour
Find books that you need from your reading list

8. Visit the Headstart website

Studying at university will require you to develop your academic skills, from learning how to be self-motivated and work independently to learning how to process complex information and write in an 'academic' style.
